The KOHABYT concept was based on the criteria of coexistence. The show itself was not a mare presentation of artefacts but rather a creation of interactions.
The custodian of the gallery (an old age pensioner) was the focus of my attention. I personally negotiated with him about his job at the gallery and asked him what kind of activities would fulfill him during his working hours and what kind of material things does he need for that. Subsequently, I tried to comply his requests and arrange a comfortable environment in the gallery space, where he could read his newspapers, bring his dog, relax and watch movies from his rocking chair. I also offered him a catalogue of my works from which he could chose some for the "decoration" of the gallery room. He chose few of my older works and sectionalized/curated them into three categories. Everything was installed according to his indications. His presence during the show was also artistically productive. He chose from my videoarchive the videos he wanted to show, discussed with the visitors and chaffered with them. The gallery became a place of cooperations and active participation.
The interactive character of created situation exceeded the optical contemplation of exposed works. The show had rather a character of social form, capable to produce human relations.
